NDIS Positive Behaviour Support

Positive Behaviour Support in Perth, built around real life.

Person-centred assessment, practical strategies and implementation for participants, families and support teams.

Perth, WAMobile support subject to local practitioner availability

Helpful by design

Useful support starts with understanding the person, not just the behaviour.

We work with the people and places around a participant to make strategies clearer, safer and more useful in everyday life.

What good support looks like

A service designed to be useful after the session ends.

Face-to-face where it helps

Support can happen at home, school or in the community, subject to local practitioner availability.

Built around the whole person

We look at communication, environment, relationships and quality of life, rather than behaviour in isolation.

Practical for everyday teams

Plans are paired with coaching and implementation so families and support teams know what to do next.

Matched with care

Intake considers location, needs, practitioner experience and whether the service is genuinely a good fit.

Support is matched by location, needs, experience and current practitioner availability.

One connected process

Assessment is only the beginning.

A Behaviour Support Plan is most useful when the participant and their team understand it, can use it, and have help adapting it as life changes.

  • Assessment with the participant and key people
  • Clear, individualised strategies
  • Training and coaching for the support network
  • Implementation and review in everyday settings

A parent’s experience · 1 of 3

“I used to feel so much shame going out in public.”

“It’s so hard feeling like you should know what to do when your child is having a full-blown meltdown in public but not knowing how to help them. You feel judged by everyone around.”

A clearer experience

You shouldn’t have to chase your behaviour support provider.

These are common frustrations people tell services about. Intake is the right time to ask how communication, matching and implementation will work.

Unclear communication

Not knowing who is responsible, what happens next or when you will hear back.

Long or uncertain waits

Being placed on a list without a realistic conversation about location, urgency or practitioner fit.

Repeated handovers

Having to explain the participant’s story again whenever practitioners or teams change.

Plans without implementation

Receiving a report without enough practical help to use the strategies in daily life.

Start with fit, not pressure.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Just fill out our online referral form or contact our intake team. We’ll guide you through the process and match you with a suitable practitioner based on your needs and location.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. We are fully registered under the NDIS to deliver both Core and Specialist Behaviour Support services. This means we can work with participants whose plans are agency-managed, plan-managed, or self-managed.

What does a Behaviour Support Practitioner actually do?

Our practitioners work with individuals, families, and support networks to understand the reasons behind behaviours of concern and develop a personalised Behaviour Support Plan. This plan focuses on prevention, skill-building, and long-term wellbeing.

Will the practitioner meet directly with the participant?

Yes. We prioritise face-to-face sessions with the participant whenever possible, though we also work with families, carers, educators, and support workers to ensure strategies are implemented consistently.

What ages do you support?

We work with individuals of ages 4+, from early childhood through to adults and older adults. Our strategies are tailored to the person’s developmental stage and goals.

When should a child start behaviour support or early intervention?

Children as young as four can benefit from PBS strategies that help build communication, reduce frustration, and support emotional development.

What kinds of behaviours or goals can you help with?

We support individuals with a wide range of goals, including: Aggression or self-injury Outbursts, meltdowns, or flopping School refusal or absconding Communication difficulties Smearing and PICA Routines and transitions Social or emotional skill development

Where are sessions held?

We come to you. Sessions can take place in the home, school, workplace, or community - wherever the behaviour typically occurs. Telehealth is also available when appropriate.

Do you offer school-based behaviour support?

Yes. We collaborate with educators and school staff to support student behaviour, learning, and inclusion. We can also assist with behaviour plans for Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Can you train support workers or SIL staff?

Absolutely. Training and coaching for support teams are a key part of implementing a successful Behaviour Support Plan. We can deliver informal coaching or structured training sessions.

Are the sessions hard for participants?

Our sessions are designed to be engaging, respectful, and strengths-based. We adapt our approach to suit participants’ preferences and abilities.

Do you use punishment or denial-based approaches?

No! We never use or recommend any form of punishment, threats, or withholding access as a behaviour strategy. Our approach is based on positive reinforcement, dignity, and human rights. We follow the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability Framework.

What qualifications do your practitioners hold?

Our Behaviour Support Practitioners come from backgrounds in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, education, and applied behaviour analysis. All practitioners meet the NDIS Commission’s requirements and receive ongoing training and supervision.

How long is the wait to see someone?

Wait times can vary depending on your location and referral needs. However, we aim to match you with a practitioner as quickly as possible and will keep you updated along the way.

What if the practitioner isn’t the right fit?

We understand that relationships matter. If you're not connecting with your assigned practitioner, we’ll work with you to find someone better suited to your needs and communication style.

Can I access your services without an NDIS plan?
